Description
Ritmüller GH160 – European Heritage. Concert-Class Tone. Baby Grand Footprint.
Timeless Craftsmanship. Redefined Design. Unmistakably Ritmüller.
Step up to the Ritmüller GH160 and you’re not just playing a baby grand — you’re tapping into a European legacy that dates back to 1795. Every detail of the GH160 reflects over two centuries of piano-making tradition, now reimagined for the modern stage.
Hand-crafted from the ground up, the GH series represents Ritmüller’s elite line — a meticulous fusion of Old-World artistry and contemporary precision. Measuring 5’3″, the GH160 may fit comfortably in your living room or studio, but its warm, expressive tone fills the space like a much larger instrument.
Designed by Masters. Built for Musicians.
In a bold move to elevate the Ritmüller brand to new heights, world-renowned piano designer Lothar Thomma was brought in to redesign the entire Ritmüller line. Known for his acclaimed work with Fazioli, Bechstein, and Steingraeber, Thomma infused the GH series with the tonal complexity and build integrity of Europe’s most prestigious concert pianos.
His assistant, Stephen Moher, remains with Ritmüller to this day — preserving and evolving that high standard of excellence with every instrument that leaves the workshop.
And let’s not forget: Ritmüller’s legacy includes being hand-selected to manufacture pianos for Steinway & Sons — a testament to its quality, precision, and musical pedigree.
Warmth. Clarity. Expression.
The GH160’s voice is unmistakably European — warm, rich, and deeply nuanced. Designed especially for classical repertoire, it offers singing highs, a lyrical midrange, and a resonant bass that belies its compact size. It’s the kind of piano that draws emotion from every note and gives expressive players the tonal palette they crave.
Whether you’re interpreting Mozart or Chopin, the GH160 responds with elegance and control, making it the perfect partner for refined playing in intimate spaces.
Built to Inspire — and to Last
From its solid spruce soundboard to premium German strings and hammers, every element in the GH160 is selected for tonal beauty and long-term durability. The action is finely calibrated for control and speed, making it equally at home in a practice room, teaching studio, or salon concert.
Elegant in design, with classic cabinet styling and polished ebony finish, the GH160 offers both sonic and visual sophistication — the kind of piano that elevates any space, and any performance.
